A long time dream has come out, we bought ourselves a lowlight 1958 Karmann Ghia. The car is very solid and has a lot of original details. She is already ours, but right now she´s still asleep at the garage of the previous owner, because I´ll have to find some dry parking place for this nice Ghia. This is my 1965 Volkswagen type 14, a.k.a. as VW Karmann Ghia. Bought in 2000, restored in 2002, back on the road in 2004.  Here are some pics of how she was during the restoration.

This is how the Karmann Ghia looked when I purchased her back in 2000. Seemed ok, but when she did not pass the APK (MOT in the UK and Tüv in Deutschland) trouble started and a full restoration was necessary.
