KGCN Technical day PDF Print

Yesterday I went to the technical day of our club, the KGCN, held at the VW Dealer Lexpoint in Hoofddorp. The issue of the day was "tires" . Never knew that there was so much to tell about tires. Learned a lot. Remarkable that their where two lowlight Ghia's to be seen that day, one of 1958 and one 1959'er. Visit my pic-gallery for some more.

History on Assen PDF Print

Past weekend the FEHAC, the Nation wide organisation for old means of transport, organised a weekend event on the TT-circuit of Assen (famous for the Dutch TT motor cycle race) A lot of oldtimer clubs presented their vehicles on this event. Their were also race events with oldtimers. The Karmann Ghia Club Netherlands was also their and my coupe was one of the Ghia's on display in front of our clubhouse (mounted on of the ski's again, so it was Karmann Skia). Although it rained all saturday and sunday wasn't to good either, had a great time.

KGCN tour PDF Print

Last Sunday the last Karmann Ghia Club Netherlands tour of this year took place. This was almost a home match for us, because the meeting started just about 30 km. from our house. At the end of the meeting everbody had to drive over a very small brigde, with at each site of the Karmann Ghia about 20 cm of space to drive trough. A real thrill seeker !! But everyone passed the bridge ok. Watch my picgallery for some more photo's of our meeting.

Last weekend it was time to let the coupe out again. So I went to the regio meeting Flevoland of the Keverclub Holland. It was a cosy small meeting and I was not the only Karmann Ghia on display. Here some pics, more in my pic-gallery.
