Last sunday we had a marvelous day. Together with the ZieZeZo Foundation and the Karmann Ghia Club Netherlands, we organized a charity drive for sick children and their family. All the children had a wonderfull thay sitting and driving around in a Karmann Ghia and a very old steamtrain. Although the weather was very bad, the smiles on the childrens faces was the sunshine of the day. Thanks a lot for all the volunteers and all the 13 Karmann Ghia owner !

Today we took the convertible for a spin. Went to Hoorn and viseted a steamtrain museum. On the way back we had no more fuel in the car, I guess the fuel gauge is broken. So my father in law brought us some petrol so we could make our way home.

it's been a long time since I posted some items. Did we do nothing, didn't think so. We had the Danish 30th anniversary meeting early in June. It was a very nice meeting with about 55 Karmann Ghia's from all over Europe. We had a great time, saw really nice things during the meeting.
After the meeting we had a 1,5 week holiday in Danmark. Although we had a lot of bad weather, had a nice time. Went to the top of Danmar, visited the town Skagen. Went home along the west coast. After 3.400 km, 2 liters of oil and one broken blinker relai, we drove safely home.
Spotted along the way

Spotted some Ghia's the last couple weeks. One in a town nearby my hometown. The owner was desperatly trying to get the Ghia back on the road. The other Karmann Ghia was spotted in Amsterdam. I've seen this one before in Amsterdam, and in all the years I've seen it, it isn't getting any better. Also mounted the whitewall trims on my own convertible, looking much better. Watch for yourself....
