Atogas gerät Print

I'm starting this topic because I'd like to tell more about the Atogas gerät from the company Galmar, I bought lately. Because the Atogas gerät is not as well known like Judson or Mag-charger its interested me to find some more info about thus vintage speed item.

This is the original add in which the Atogas gerät is promoted. The add says that there will be 20% less gazoline comsumption and higher performance. The top speed will be increased to 125-130 km/h and the liability of the engine is improved. An all that for DM 98,50. Also to fit it in your car a Werkstatt (garage) will only take about 2 hours. Impressive. The company Galmar was located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Some links with atogas information.

Oldspeed.ch: they also have some kits for sale for the stunning price of € 590,= Glad I didn't pay that price, not even close.

Gerrelts Garage: a Dutch Beetle owner who found a kit in a ox of spare parts he bought on the internet

The Boss: the man who knows everything about vintage speed

German Autoparts: A shop in France who also sells (as which I can tell) Atogas kits.
